I have just taken delivery of my Lotus Elan M100 S2 number 504.

Retired last year and thought that a nice classic and attending shows would be good for the grey cells.

Welcome to LEC and happy motoring. Nice looking car: hope your local roads aren't too muddy or clogged with sheep :P

Loads of useful info and help on here. Very few questions/queries go without being answered, even if it is light-hearted at times!

Put your location in your profile: it'll save having to ask again!

Really pleased with the car, had specialists look at it and they all admired it. Have the original log book with a stamp for every year from 1995 to 2011.It even has the original tool kit.

Just randomly came across this thread.

I used to own this car. Bought it from Sportomotive in Salisbury, ran it for a few years then sold it to some chap from Wales I think back in 2011 ish.

Not sure if you know this but the ecu has been fitted with an everest chip. I fitted it shortly after buying the car so should be still on it.

Never had any trouble with the car in the time I had her and treated her well so it should be a good one.
