Hello, I've been a member of LEC since 2003. I guess it would be appropriate to introduce myself again since I doubt anyone here much remembers me. My M100 has been stored for some time so it's been quite a while since I've been active around here. I used to post quite a bit but it seems like my old posts have gotten lost somewhere. I must admit that seeing "newbie" next to my name seems a little strange in a humorous sort of way. Perhaps "old codger" would be more accurate.

I live in Washington State, USA and have owned my red 1991 M-100 for almost 18 years. I was even around during the time when the old Randy's M-100 site was still active. I'm the second owner of my car and it has just 27,500 miles on it. It has always been stored in a heated garage so it's still in fine shape. It was in storage because of a couple of issues like petrol tank and windshield. Personal health issues made working on it difficult for quite some time. After I got better other projects took my time and resorces. The years slid on by..... During storage the fuel pump and fuel injectors went bad and that resulted in another delay in getting back on the road. I must admit I was horrified when after being so nicely stored it refused to start. At this point the car is back in service and running really well. I am reinvigrorated now that I'm driving it again and planning on doing a few things to it. The car is mostly stock except for a Stans custom exhaust, ebc front pads and rotors, and top end performance intake piping and air filter. Just recently the short shift kit and cables made by Brit-car-nut were installed (brilliant!). I have also bought a mountain chip and it will be installed soon. I think I'm getting to the point where I may need new dampers soon. That will take a lot of research and thought.
My other cars are a 1969 Lotus Elan S4 coupe that's being fully restored and a 2012 Fiat Abarth. The 69 Elan has been fitted with Lotus 26R flares and molded in 26R headlights. The stroker engine for it has been rebuilt by Loyning engine service. He's kind of a west coast USA Lotus legend. Even at age 72 he still runs his rebuild shop and races his own 26R. The body for mine is currently in the body shop and about ready to paint. In my admittedly biased opinion it's going to be really beautiful.
The members of this site make are an invaluable resource for keeping my M100 on the road. Thanks in advance for any help you may kindly offer.
