Replacement sump and oil pickup?

Postby Lotus54 » Sun 08.06.2014, 01:46

After searching, it appears a new sump is not to be had anywhere off anything.
Is that still correct?

Also,is the oil pickup still avaliable?
Someone used a ton of silicone sealer on it previously, and of course it got in the screen (I hate that stuff).
I'm trying to clean it, but the hole to access is pretty small.guess I could cut it larger? (But I don't like second guessing the engineers)

I'd like to address this as soon as possible, the sump is off and the weather is fantastic!

Thanks

I have a brand new OEM pick up from Lotus and another short block engine which happens to have an oil pan connected to it :D , just across the water in Victoria, but if you want the oil pan you take the block with it :-D .

I have a good used sump available and I believe I have a NEW oil pickup.

I will send you an email tomorrow with a picture of the sump and confirm I can lay my hands on the pickup.

Glad you got one...

They have 5 more on order, but the last order took over a year to fulfill.
