Engine firing sequence

I have just received some plug leads from JD Motorsport. They are Part No: VE522667. When I removed the old leads (keyhole surgery) I then
opened the new ones and found they were about a foot too short for cyl 1 and differing lengths for the others. Does anyone know the
correct part no please. (91 M100 turbo) They were advertised on ebay.
Also looking at the electronic thingy that replaces a distributor. Can you tell me the plug sequence. I think the top one is 4 the next
one down 1 and am not sure about the other two. Waiting to hear back from JD

Colin: If the plug lead kit you received came with a 5th lead, then the kit is for the NA or Non-Turbo Car.

The pictures I found for VE522667 on eBay show it to be a 5 lead set. That would explain the short lead issues since the NA uses a normal distributor at the rear of the cylinder head, not the coil pack at the body, under the coolant tank.

Looking down at the coil pack fron the near side wing, the left most connector is #4, the next going toward the rear of the car is #1, going to the next coil, the first (left) connector is #3 and the last is #2

I am pleased to say that J C Motorsport that I got the plug leads from are refunding
my money and are looking to see if they can find the right leads.
