Hi Jamie
I've been following your impressive handy work and hope to attempt seal replacement in the near future. I've not owned my elan long, the seals are poor and the hood is worse (all need changing), but do I get a hood fitter to change this first with the old seals or change it after new seals are fitted
Which way round is best?

Thanks

Bruce

of course.... remember it well ! to be fair i have seen my folks a couple of times since then, normally in the grown up car.
i'm just back after a quick job in greece, once i know which way up the diary is i'll sort a trip over,
project sounds amazing, my car lives under a rain cover as it leaks so badly round the edges & usually only gets a run out when it's dry.
put me down for a set, best G

Bruce, If you are going to try making them yourself do it with the old hood, then if you get them good it should only be a matter of swapping them over to the new hood. The ideal scenario though would be to have them all together ready to fit when the new hood goes on.
