Hi from a new member in Bedfordshire!

Hi Everyone,

I've just signed up after falling in love with the M100 all over again, I got my first lotus in 1992, a beautiful Elan SE in Calypso Red, which led to a love affair of all things lotus that has lasted over 20 years and shows no signs of letting up.

I am now on the look out for a M100 in Calypso red again, ideally in as original condition as possible, below are a few pics from when I first got my Elan back in '92, if anyone has seen or knows where H574 TPW is nowadays please let me know as I'd love to be reacquainted, sad I know.

Look forward to contributing to LEC, it looks like a great forum where if I do get another Elan I can see my myself lingering around quite a lot :-)

Thanks,
Paul.

Thats not my house btw :-)

Hi Paul,

Welcome to LEC, and I hope you find a good one.

As far as your old Elan is concerned, a quick check with DVLA shows that it is still around, somewhere in the UK, but I can't help with who owns it (and although I don't recognise it, it's not to say that it doesn't belong to someone on here)......

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Thanks Dave,

Good to know that it is still out there, hopefully someone out there will recognise it.

From memory I think I traded it in for a TVR Chimera, what was I thinking :-(

Cheers,
Paul.
