It's good but Loud. I would opt for a Piper, my 2 cents.

I also have one. 1.25 it fit nicely and is loud but that is performance you are hearing
I believe they now make an additional silencer to accommodate the rumble.

Awww thanks,I'm after a rumble and don't use it often enough to be a pain ,on scale of one to ten ,ten being loud is it louder the stock exhaust please ,an thanks for replies

It's a lot louder then stock but PNM make a extra box which tones it down a bit the cybox exhaust fits will and you get more bhp

The extra box helps stop the droney bit on a long run but without it yes a tad droney

I've got the Cybox fitted by PNM (PNM's is a Cybox) with the extra silencer which I asked them to fit after hearing another car with just the standard Cybox exhaust on it. There is no discernible loss of power with the extra silencer and the first time I took the car out it was an amazing transformation. Previously the car felt "strangled" with the OEM exhaust but with the extra flow it runs much better. I thought the stock exhaust a little too quiet and the standard Cybox a little bit "aftermarket" if you know what i mean. Now it sounds meaty and purposeful, not at all chavvy, and suits the car perfectly. You are likely to get boost creep in 3rd gear under hard acceleration but just control it with your right foot. You get to know when the fuel cut off will come in so just back off slightly at that point. I don't do great mileage to know if the drone from it becomes really annoying on a long run as I rarely cruise at the same speed.

Whatever exhaust you decide on they are well worth getting and you'll love the improved power and drivability. Not sure how the Cybox/PNM compares with the Peco or Piper but its difficult to see how it could be improved upon. If you are not sure then the only option would be to wait until one of the shows and hear a couple side by side.

Cybox/PNM compares with the Peco or Piper

Cybox is a re-branded Peco.
Peco became unavailable just before I was ready to buy one. Several months later, Cybox appeared & these were found to be the same.

Hi Toby - I'm just about to get a PNM exhaust on my S2.. popping up to PNM at the end of the month. I was going to get the standard sports exhaust, but now that I've read Andy's snippet about the silenced exhaust option.. I gonna go for that one. A few owners I've spoken to praise the PNM systems. cheers Mike

Hi Toby - how you getting on with your new exhaust? Iv'e had my PNM with the extra box (the quiet version) for a couple of months now and i feel I've made a big mistake. I'm slowly grinding it down to scrap. I'm grounding it so often on the country roads where I live that sooner or later its just gonna get a holed or split.. or come off completely. I try to take care but it has just taken all the fun out of driving the car. It's also so close to the underside that it knocks all the time. I've taken it in twice to various exhaust centres to have it re-seated, and even put some exhaust vibration mat roll on the first box, but it got ripped off after a couple of weeks. Yep - its increased boost and sounds great, but its becoming really annoying now. Not sure what i'll do when the thing finally gets holed. M.

I have had my cybox exhaust for over 3 years now I fitted the extra box last year and have had no problems I fitted the exhaust myself and found it easy to fit the extra power you get is great but I would always fit the added box .
