Maidstone Sports Cars - any good?

Does anyone have any experiences - good or bad - of Maidstone Sports Cars in Kent?
My Elan is coming up for a big service and needs a bit of attention elsewhere and i really
want to place the car with someone who knows their stuff and is reasonably local to me.

I've used them a couple of times and have been satisfied. But they are some distance away from me in Tunbridge Wells and it always seems to be raining when I've taken the car in! They seem to have a breadth of experience of different makes, even extending to a CX GTi Turbo! They didn't seem particularly interested in my car though. Looking at the date of your post you've probably had it done by now anyway!

I have used them and have had no problem with them at all. They are helpful and vastly experienced with Lotus cars. I shall
be using them again this month as I am due for service and MOT.

Ok i've just had the car in with these guys for a 'C' service, to fit an A pillar sill and a
few other bits and pieces. The A pillar sill was expertly fitted and they took the trouble to
re-paint the metal framework the rubber sill attaches too on both sides as this had flaked
off with age. I can thoroughly recommend them now. The proprietor Andy and all his staff
are real car enthusiasts. Andy showed me his lovely MG SV-S and the place is teeming with
Loti and other Brit sportscars plus a restored Alvis Scimitar light tank!

Will definitely be using them in the future.

Delivered safely, drove like a dream as she has done everytime.

Picked up car today. 'C' service and MOT completed, no adviseries.
plus
New spark plug leads (from Kingsborne Wire Werks USA)
New cambelt, alternator belt and power steering belt.
Repair of offside headlight motor.
New water pump.
Adjust of clutch cables and linkage.

Runs like new

Taxed and ready for another year of fun

Yep. Mine is there. They have changed the cam belt, fitted a new sump and front brake discs, and are stopping some oil leaks. It is taking them some time to source the CAS gear set, but that should be with them next week. I was concerned that the rattle was coming from the head, but am relieved that it is the CAS instead.

Just had a cambelt, A service, headlamp motors and front splitter done. All fine. I've reached the stage where the car needs to move on and they were very helpful in prepping the car for the new owner at no cost to me. I was down there yesterday to meet the new owner and take his money - which I then paid to MSC! So my M100 is gone but I fell in love with a black Europa but as I couldn't ever get in it... They certainly know their stuff and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
