Jamie gave me hand to today, and i got the coolant pump fixed thanks jamie i owe you one!
We got the wheel arch liner off and found the seal was a bit powdery, but still seemed ok. I'll order a new one and fit it since it's only £6, and this well help narrow down the possibilities. We found a small hole at the very back of the footwell, which could have been where the water was coming in. I'll get something to seal that and i'll keep a look out to see if i continue getting water coming in.

Sorry guys, forgot to update this.
I ordered the seal (A100P0096F) and when it finally arrived about 3 weeks later i fitted it. A fiddly job as the old seal just crumbled when i touched it. No leaks since
