S2 No. 557 thinking of buying? Anyone know it?

Currently advertised on ebay item 111662711561 reg M918 LYM too far away from me to view so would really appreciate any
feedback on this car at all

It looks as if the owner has spent a lot of money to make this Elan look as good as it could.
Also doing a cam belt service recently would suggest that it has been looked after mechanically in other areas as well.
The mileage may be a little high for some but if looked after these engines can do 250k.
With prices rising as they are at the moment I can't see this one being around as long as some high milers.
I would recommend having a look if you are serious about finding one as you may have to wait a while before another suitable one appears.

It looks lovely, but then I usually say that about Pacific Blue!
Congratulations on your potential purchase, and I hope it measures up to expectation.
I would recommend doing a "mytextcheck" on any car before setting off to pick it up, but only because I've had my fingers burnt on a car in the past.
For the cost of it, better safe than sorry.
