New / old M100 in Florida

Postby pmb » Thu 11.06.2015, 10:19

Just acquired, from a long-time friend, his 1991 M100 (yes, added to the Register too..).
This Monaco White is now in the care of just its third owner, and appears to have always resided in Florida - initially Key West, then Naples for the past decade or so. It has received excellent care, with only a nicely-installed rollover bar added by the first owner as well as a recent new/upgraded radiator.
Hard to believe it's about to have its 25th birthday, becoming eligible for showing at AACA ( http://www.aaca.org ) events!
Already finding useful information on the LEC site, as this newbie fumbles around wondering why there appears to be no direct link to the Register from this direction.... Stop by if you're visiting the Naples area! Peter Blackford

Hi Peter,

I did not know there was a register for Fed Elans.
I am glad you are finding the site useful. I would have sold my Elan on at a loss years ago if it was not for this place.
I'm sure you will be passing your own knowledge on sooner than you know it!

Yes, Iain - and far to familiar for someone you've never met - - Maybe "Mr Blackford"?
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

That's not the correct way of addressing a Prius owner Dave.

Back on topic, welcome Peter. Is that Matt's old car?

There used to be a specific topic but a MOD removed it.

Obviously, I was mistaken. I found the original link under Non-Technical; General; North American Lotus Elan M100 Registry

Regarding the North American Lotus M100 Registry:

To add to my existing issues, my hosting site has decided to cease supporting MS Front Page Extensions, so the form doesn't work as of June 11, 2015.

If you send me an email, I will email you a spreadsheet type form you can fill in and when you email it back to me, I will update the database manually.
