elan workshop manual

I used to own an elan, I still have the official workshop manual...

Part No. X036 T 0327Z reprint October 1974 complete but in used condition

five years ago I offered it on an elan site, a guy in Australia was interested but did not want to pay the postage!

I was moving home a week later and it was forgotten, I've just found it again so if anyone is interested in having it, email me and perhaps it can find a good home!

If this is dated 1974, do I take it that it covers the original rear wheel drive Elans, rather than the M100 series?

yes, rear wheel drive only.

Thanks, not for me then. Although some on here do have the older Elan, you might get better results on one of the alternative Lotus sites which caters especially for the 60s models

The best one I know of is LotusElan.net, but I'm sure other with more experience than I will have opinions too
