Grahame,
Sorry to see you've sold it, but at least you know the tall one with the hat will take care of it well.
(I count 8 Elans, including you. Gosh - it was 10 years ago - you, me, ab2cv, Andrew Ennis, Farran, Stevo, Rambo, Boy named Su.)

Awrabest,
John

Hi John
Correct it was eight going by the pic, glad I got the Heinz out and not the appy shopper.
Looks like I'm caressing those rolls in a kind of caressing way. :-D

I'm wrong - it was nine Elans in your drive - I forgot Archie's green one at the back.
Must be a record that still stands. I don't think we've had more than nine in somebody's driveway even at Archie's Gairnshiel meets.

We had 7 in Ronjr's drive and that was quite a good turnout

With 3 in my drive I just need to get another 7 and I will be in the BOLLECS book of records

But, for the time being, 9 in Grahame's drive still holds the Clan MacElan record

Bacon butties anyone ;-)

Interesting the blue SE on the left is H202BFG, my Collapso Red SE is H244BFG and was sold and registered by Frosts near Chichester so 202 was a long way from home!

Hi Grahame,

Thanks again for Saturday and apologies for outstaying my welcome due to my bank refusing to let me spend my own money.
Cheese and ham roll this time, handled with the same amount of care as the bacon roll 10 years prior.

The car drove brilliantly all the way back to Edinburgh (turning a few heads along the way) and is now tucked up safely in my garage. Particularly impressed by the AP brakes, having never driven an Elan with uprated brakes before.
