Today I reset the drivers side wiper position. It was way out after the new windshield was installed. I cleaned the engine compartment with S100 motorcycle cleaner. It works so well I bought a gallon of it and use it on all our vehicles. I hope to get a photo and post the condition of the engine bay.
Fixing the windshield washer is still baffling me. The pump runs I sometimes get a squirt of fluid but that is about it.

Do you have a blocked sprayer(s)? You might want to try disconnecting the hose from the sprayers and seeing if you are getting any fluid movement. Otherwise, you may have a blockage at the bottom of the tank itself.

New speakers going in the doors today. Hopefully i will get the passenger's side window up stop fixed. Refurbished wheels, new centers and new tires are going on this weekend. I this week a shop replace the belts, hoses, water pump, idler... If I can get a bit of driving in this weekend I will check the timing.
The windshield washer now sprays. Replacing an old hose and giving the nozzles a blast of compressed air fixed that. Lots of ugly black goo was shot out onto the windshield and bonnet. I'm shimming the driver's side A-pillar with a piece of electric cable (a trick I learned with the other M100). Without shimming there is a noticeable gap, especially when it is raining!
It is hot and humid here in tidewater Virginia. I am thankful for the window AC in the garage.

Timed the engine today. There is still a hitch in the right side window. I found the stop lying in the door. I put it back and it has less wobble. I'm calling the mechanicals good enough to the 1,700 mile trip to LOG 35.

I took a pre-LOG shake down drive today. 80 miles, taking in Yourktown (where we kicked the oppressive British imperialists out of our country

Williamsburg and Jamestown where I picked up a National Parks Pass. If my 10% rule is correct we should be good for the next 800 miles. This is my longest drive since the delivery drive from Buffalo. On the way I saw a candy apple red AC Cobra kitcar, Plymouth Prowler, 2 American late 1960 convertibles, and a deer that though better of jumping in front of the M100. Only the battery should be changed before our trip. The windshield washer low fluid warning is on. I have to fix or disable that sensor in the next few days. An additional coat of wax would also be nice.

No thanks. I have a new set in my spares pile. I will take a usb ElanScan cable if I can get one.
It turns out that the wrong batter was wedged into the battery compartment. That should get fixed tomorrow.

Dean I have your ElanScan cable. Sounds like the car with NO NAME is doing well.
Safe trip to Log.
