Are you buying an Elise then?
Why are they blue?
Why aren't they rectangular to fit in the Elan's recess?

Sorry but I'm not impressed. It may depend what colour Elan you put them on.

I also got some via ebay - square, just like original, but white/clear ones that use orange bulbs and thought they looked better on my blue elan than original orange. Can't find anybody selling them at the moment though so I can't post a link.

Note that I've seen a Norfolk Mustard Elan with clear ones and thought original orange looked better.

Unless mistaken, the side indicators of the S1 and S2 (not the Federal version though) are similar to the one of those cars:

Rover 25
Rover 100
MGF
Classic mini (not the BMW one) from 1986 till 2000.

Yes, they fit. Cost me around a fiver off eBay (with spare bulbs) I did have to file them slightly to get the bulb holder to fit. Otherwise a good, cheap mod

This may help to determine what can simply fit and what may by chance be identical.

These fit in the body perfectly but need a few strokes with a file to get the original bulb holder into them. That seemed easier to me than trying to swap bulb holders on the wiring.

I purchased side indicators from South West Lotus Center in England. They are a good re-pop of original. The silver could be more reflective, but they will do fine. Also, the heat reflective metal is not in them. They also have clear lenses and the rubber gaskets.
