Postby restorer » Tue 24.11.2015, 22:13

hi I am retired car restorer with a friend living in France that is selling his Lotus Elan SE Coupe 1968, he as had the car for a long time. It as been restored with new body, chassie springs shocks ect. rebuilt engine and covered about 300 to 400 miles since. It is a black badge model car colour french blue.
The doors do not fit correctly because of window frames are not correct the new ones he had in uk were lost and he as lost interest in car.
Can I ask for advice on value and best place to advertise or anythink you think may help me. I will be putting pictures on my web site soon.

Hi Restorer, and welcome.....

.... however, this forum (whilst some members also own the 'early' elan, is aimed at the M100 model.

I think you will have a better chance to get the information you need, and to sell the car, at www.lotuselan.net
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?
