Hello all,

Most won`t remember me or my car but i lurk here every now and then to see what`s happening in the Elan world. I will have another one day but life things keep getting in the way!!

Can`t believe i registered nearly 10 years ago and bought one pretty soon after that.

Anyway, onto why i`m posting. The old girl is still alive (Well it`s MOT`d and taxed) but daveA who i sold it to hasn`t been around since Tue 07.08.2012, 21:56. I`m wondering if he still has it and if he doesn`t who might. Be interesting to see how it`s doing.

It`s a black S1, reg number J58 PBT. When i owned it it had red calipers and a roll bar. I still miss it and love seeing other Elans on the road...... I`ll link a piccie when i get away from the work computer!

I remember you being on here. I don't think we ever met though.

I saw Dave a few times at the Ace Cafe. I've not seen him for at least 2 years & I've not been to the Ace myself for several months.
It looked quite tidy when I last saw it. I believe he had the interior re-covered to the original design.

AFAIK Dave still has it. He had trouble logging in here and gave up trying. He was quite active in his Club Lotus area with Phil Pilgrim (they have a half share each in an Excel).

Hope all is well with you and yours. I would be interested to see how the old girl is. Would be great if he`s still got it. Don`t go mad with it though, if he`s about and posting somewhere i can always track him down with some pointers
