A lovely 260 mile round trip over the weekend to East Anglia gave the car it's first outing this summer. Even had the hood down for most of the time.
Car ran really well, positively purred along, no issues at all and the traffic on the A14 was pretty light. Unfortunately Suffolk lanes are a bit wet and muddy so car needs a good clean now. Had lunch on Sunday in Lavenham: what a beautiful village and with loads of well preserved mediaeval buildings: sorry no photos but a quick google should be enough!!
Roll on the next trip

Good to see the Car getting a nice run out John, although I don't think it is technically Summer yet. Top down motoring weather it most certainly is at present.
I'm hoping this weather holds as the M100 will the the car of choice for Matthew and I to take on our trip to Goodwood this weekend for the 74th Members meeting. If anyone on here is going it would be good to catch up and meet people face to face rather than just on topic updates.
Enjoy the sunshine everyone

Lavenham is only 9 miles from me, or should I say I'm only 9 miles from Lavenham..

Suffolk has lowest rainfall in UK and most of it falls in July and August during thunderstorms so you seldom need the hood up, though you might need the heater on full heat, full fan, in winter.
