I've shut the keys in the boot!!!!!

Is there a simple, non-damaging way to get the boot open????

Yes there is - don't do any damage at this stage....

(I have never had the procedure explained to me, but know that it is possible - someone will be along shortly....

Open the boot with your spare. :twisted:

The procedure is never explained in public. Many on here know it so you should get a PM before too long.

The FED bootlid is different so the instructions won't be much help for any of the USA/FED cars.

The previous owner of my car also didn't know this secret as this is only explanation I can think of for cutting an arm sized hole in the rear bulkhead, and then sticking the missing bit back in with gaffer tape. :bonk:

Now properly repaired so would be grateful for an email incase it happens to me.

Would someone be able to drop me a pm too please, almost locked keys in the boot twice now. I was thinking of gaffer taping a spare key underneath the car somewhere just in case.

Also did the Élan ever come with deadlocks on the doors? Is there a mod as a bit pointless locking doors with the roof down!
