Hi,
Just placed my first order with Rockauto for a timing belt kit (including water pump) and several days later received an email saying they're out of stock. Could anyone recommend an alternate source?
thanks,
Steve

If you would like to spend 2-3 times the price of RockAuto, I can recommend several places in the UK
However, my advice would be to persevere with RA. Try E mailing or even phoning them. They are very friendly and exceedingly helpful. It may just be that they are out of the TB kits which include cambelt, water pump, tensioner, idler etc.... and that by sourcing the individual parts yoursel you will have no problems.
Try putting the individual parts into your shopping trolley and see what happens ie Airtex water pump.
I ordered 3 cambelt and associated parts recently and 2 of the Gates belts (PAS and alternator) were showing out of stock in one location but RA found out it was an internal stock control problem and notified me immediately by e mail and phone
Great service

So that's why they have none left!
Thanks for the prompt reply.... I just found an earlier email from them in my spam folder and it says their stock system was incorrect. Have ordered seperate parts, unfortunately more expensive and extra postage because they're in different locations, but still pretty cheap.

I'm also after a full kit and struggle to find the parts on Rock Auto even though I have sued them before!
We could save on postage and do a joint order?? Or could you please share the part numbers with me? Not requiring Air Con though.
Anyone got a Rock Auto discount code handy??!

Thank you!
