1992 K reg SE Silk Red 91k (SOLD)

I have decided to sell my Silk Red SE.
It has covered 91 thousand miles.
Recent interior re-trim Has charcoal leather with magnolia perforated seat centre panels and red piping.
Just had cambelt idler tensioner & all belts changed full oil flush and Mobil 1 oil change. 12 months MOT. Good hood and seals. Door weather strips replaced with PNM replacements. The car has had the Dinol treatment from new so is in excellent order underneath.
In great condition drives very well. I will post some photos soon. please message me for contact details if you would like more details.

OK guys despite a fair bit of interest from LEC no one has viewed the car yet so I am going to start advertising the Elan on other sites also.
I am sure the first person to see will buy it, I had hoped someone of LEC would buy it.

Long time no hear. A few people enquired about viewing it but for various reasons have not been able do so I think there maybe still 1 person planning to view but no one has actually viewed it yet.

I have left if on LEC only for a couple of weeks and things have now gone a bit quiet.
Do you still have loads of parts lying about?

Jon had viewed a few other examples which looked nice and shiney on top but were rather crusty below. I think he got a bargain.

A great colour that, surprised not more sold in that colour. Had a Ginetta for a few years in a very similar colour - loved it, it always sparkled !!

Yep drove him 300 miles home yesterday and loved every minute! He's up on the ramps now for another coat of Dinitrol - the wheels are off at the refurbishers - I've broken out my DA polisher and I've dug out the Renovo. So he should be looking shiny by the weekend. Just need to sort out the rattling CAS then all will be well with the world!
