Now that gumtree is becoming one in every five postings it deserves its own section too.

Looks like it might have had a coolant/head gasket problem in the past ??

Can't work out why the current owner doesn't put it through an MOT for the sake of £55 :shock: It would sell much better and faster :roll:

Selling without an MOT suggests it needs many £££'s of work.

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

did the stupid cut out of rear window ... then has to use a car cover . car cover then cracks windscreen ... should have just bought a new roof . That cost them heavily in the long run ... just how much is a new screen compared to a new roof . Windscreens need seals ... pretty pricey mistake to make .

driver door card sitting in back of car why ?
wrong rear plate holder and no badges ?
" I don't have the knowledge of the funds to repair myself" a worrying statement .

Still best of luck to the new / next owner . hope they can bring it back round again ...

Why do people cut out the rear plastic screens ! Are they mad ??

Wheels no original. Rear badges missing. Aerial on wrong side. Possible bumper damage (FNS) No details of MOT or service history. Cambelt change??? etc.....

Good price for a project though

Just checked. Not been on the road since 2007 so no doubt calipers will be stuck and a complete recommission will be required :roll:

Goodness knows what the chassis/wishies will be like

Looking at the crap to the right of the car it looks like the rear screen might have been dumped there along with all the other plastic and double glazed windows. In the words of the immortal Dragons Den, I'm out :o
