The Lotus is presented in original condition and still retains its better quality leather interior, aluminium wheels and mohair hood.

Mohair hood?! I thought it was a synthetic fabric!

Guy has had to spend a lot of money bringing it back to life after 5 years of not great storage, he is still doing the final detailing before offering it for sale soon. He is keen to keep the car within the community so worth contacting him if interested.

Just a shame that we are at opposite ends of the Country as it would be great for them two cars to meet after so long for some photos.

I don't doubt that money has been spent and its a one off.........

Ah, but ......

1) - he's a dealer, so overheads, tax etc to be accounted for (he needs to eat as we all do)
2) - he's spent money on it
3) - I expect a lower offer may get a change of ownership - there has to be an element of "haggle room" in the advertised price.

Don't forget the auction commission had to be paid as well. I have spoken to Guy and he is willing to do a very good deal for a forum member. I have a figure if anyone wants to PM me. The car needed lots of going over as had no MOT and been stored unused for years, Guy has spent loads of money getting it done properly and would like it to stay in the U.K.
Give him a call and you may be surprised, he is genuine and has a good reputation in Lotus circles.
