It looks like they spent the first 9 hours making it carefully out of plasticene and then when they realized they'd got the measurements wrong, just squished it with the palm of their hand until it looked as good as it was going to get - then varnished it!

Soooo.... all we have managed to do so far is to establish that someone, somewhere actually purchased a Metro (I had one once, so I know it can happen to anyone!!), then decided to turn it into an ugly copy of an Audi.....

..... which they are now trying to sell for twice the price of a real one.

So my only conclusion is that he is hoping that somewhere out there is an even bigger muppet than he is - that could take a while to find....

I wonder if I could put an MX5 bodyshell on a Maxi, hit it with a hammer, cover in a layer of P38 and a couple of rattle cans of 'Ford Red' paint and sell it for twice the price of an Elan????

"Engine has powerful acceleration": not if it's a BMC B series it doesn't (and from the description, it sounds like it is)
"timing chain kit": hmmm, wonder what they did with this given that it's a pushrod engine?
"Turbo" (badge on rear hatch: I doubt it, but I wonder where they've put the chargecooler if so?

One to steer well clear of, I think.

The timing chain turns the cam, which pushes the rods, which rock the rockers, which tap the tappets, that open the valves.
