Engine torque damper

Postby peter123 » Thu 22.06.2017, 21:50

How much damping force is there on the engine torque damper(the one from the front of the engine to the prongeron),the reason i ask is when replacing the prongeron and re bolting the damper to it i was suprised as to how little effort it took to move it up and down, should it be fairly firm?

Try to make it go in and out FAST (or high frequency). That should not be possible. If it is possible, replace :poke:

Thanks HJ2,wasn't sure how they worked, just been and tried it, hardly any resistence when you pull and push it slowly, but the faster you try the more the resistance is,so hopefully it's not something else i need to replace.
Giniw, unfortunately not. :-D
