Problem with a seller (JEEMY). Advice? (title edit by Spud)

Hey guys I am having a problem getting my parts I ordered and paid for from Jeemy at SVS (http://www.specialistvehiclesolutions.com).

I ordered a tail light and a couple of other pieces last November 2016 and have still not received them (in fairness there was some communication problem the first couple of months but since January it"s not my fault). At first he was returning email about once a month and would say he was getting to it. Then at the start of the year he had family troubles and as long as he was responding to my emails I was not pushing the subject until he got things sorted out (family is more important then some guys tailights). Then I would get him through his online chat which was good because it was right away but he kept assuring he would get it out. One time he even got so far as to book the package with a shipping company and I got a tracking number but he never dropped it off with them (this was this past summer). Then is August he said he had actually sent it out but I didn't get a tracking number and nothing has come in the 3 months since.

He is still doing business because I see on ebay there is feedback for parts people got from him so he is not running with everyones money. I believe he is overwhelmed with his business and trying to catch up from the problems earlier in the year. My problem is I am no where near the UK and have no way of either going by his shop or even calling him as I can't dial that number from Canada. I am relying on his chat and email which is non existent now.

Does anyone know how I can get this guy to send my package? I am out of ideas and can't believe it's been a year already.

The family issues excuse has been getting used by Jeemy for a number years along with moving business location/supplier issues/waiting on packaging/phone not working etc.

There are a number of people on here who have suffered or suffering the same issues as you over a period which can extend to years. I got my parts by continually chasing him up when I reached the limit of his excuses so I suggest you keep hounding him - become that squeaky wheel that needs oiled.

For the record I dont think he is dishonest just very badly organized

Par - you've forgotten the excuses about the Edinburgh festival that have been used over and over the years, problems with LEC PM box being full, etc, etc.........

Thanks for all the advice. In a way it's good to know that it's not just me so I will probably get through eventually. I didn't see the cell phone number in his site before so that's good as I can actually call that number. Got his voicemail but will keep trying.

Sad to say I returned my faulty hubs several months ago and haven't heard anything since......

I have been trying to call for hours at a time. Nothing. I did finally get hold of him and turns out my package was dropped off for shipping after he said it would but since it took him more than 7 days the shipping label expired and it didn't go out. So the package is hopefully sitting at the shipping company three months later (and not sold or disposed of). He said he was going to go right away to see if it's still there but I haven't heard back since last week.

This guy should be banned from this site. Is there a system like the Better Business Bureau that someone can complain to?

Someone once told me, I presumed jokingly, that Jeemy was Bob Brown's cousin ?? After all the false dawns, promises and excuses I am beginning to think they were right !!

I feel particularly embarrassed when I have personally recommended Jeemy's products and the LEC member has subsequently been let down on timelines, quality or non-delivery of product

Unfortunately it is probably time to pull the plug on someone who promises, takes money and can't deliver. Over to you Mods

I ordered a set of 4 Gaz shock absorbers with springs from SVS on 24th April 2017, they arrived today, 23rd Nov 2017. Jamie did reply to emails to jamie@specialistvehiclesolutions.com . I will not be using SVS again.

Here's a plan ... Buy a set through ebay and when they arrive sign for them as "accepted as set paid for (date of first order)". Then use ebay dispute procedure to get either a refund or a second set that you could sell through here at cost price. At least owners would know they'll get them quickly from you..
