You got some weird ants stuck in your cheese there .
Jim Clark S2 - 1/12. The one with the Yellow spoke wheels . No 613 on dash (pushed in to factory in wrong order 615 on tub)

(Mmm, I had not noticed it but yes the board is the... the "plate", he pretends to be bored to see yet another board and a reference to his bike, too? That is all I can see for now :D)

Not sure how far this Bluetooth version has got, but I’ve just bought my first Elan M100 and it’s got a few running issues :( which I’d love to solve with an Elanscan, either directly connected or even better via bluetooth.

How do I go about obtaining either? I’ve got an Apple IPad and a Windows 10 laptop, but I’m an IT numphtie?

Looking forward to a sweet running SE :D

how would one interface it to ElanScan on Windows that typically uses a serial adapter?

Well you'd have to be a bit of a computer whizz-kid:
Set the BT device as a virtual COM port.
Select COM port in ES.
Go.

However, I am assuming that if your PC is old enough to have a Serial Port, it may not be bluetooth enabled....

..... in which case, you will need a bluetooth dongle to plug into a USB port.

(I have this issue with an older laptop, but my netbook is BT enabled anyway.... it works with both - and with Android phone :D )

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Hi Geoff,

Did you ever get these to work? To be able to link by Bluetooth to the car by an Android phone would be awesome :) Do you think that this is something that would ever be possible?
I'd be up for 1.
