1st Day of the new regulations..Tester ripped me to shreds!

For only doing 61 miles since the last MOT . I thought it was at least a hundred but there you go, I will make more of an effort
this year. The Tester was all over it like a rash, taking pictures and trying to buy it there and then for cash! .

Anyway I have spent the last couple of weeks putting other folks motors aside and getting it ready, fitted new front wheel bearings,
alloy radiator, new fans, stripped all the brakes and generally tidied everything up, Tester went over it with the proverbial fine tooth
comb as well as blagging a quick run round the back roads!, I couldn't really refuse seeing he gave it a clean bill of health and a brand
new ticket with no advisories, happy days .

Im sorry to say......I did 9 in 2 years......yep....thats 4.5 miles a year.......thats to and from the test centre twice......

The Meldrewonians will be seething reading that with the chimerical idea that you cant own a Lotus and only
do a tiny mileage in it .

it will remain, much to the chagrined vexation of some.

Although there will be occasional days when its normal residing space becomes Pretty Vacant I'm sure.

Iver done more than that just to find out of the cambelt was fitted correctly.. (which wasnt)
sadly i think im going to report less than 1k this next MOT. with all the dificulties i had so far putting mine back on the road
