Not a bad looking wheel I think, certainly better looking than the original
15" SE alloys (obviously opinions will be split on that one ).

Sturnus Vulgaris maybe not so impressed by the looks of things! .

Good choice! Did you have the centres counter-bored?

BTW to anyone going with Mini wheels; and why not? Don't forget you need early 4x 100 alloys.

These look good on her, I like the black wheels on the white car and it’s good to have an alternative if the originals need replaced and don’t want or can’t find originals . Good low cost alternative to use with winter tyres if if wanting to go out in the salty roads.

Dunno, but at least they’re round. Unlike the ones on my car at the moment after my trip to Skye!

Once you've got your 4 mini Daytona's that is

I think the spokes might make contact if you have bigger brakes, with standard front brakes there is approximately 4mm between the spoke and the caliper,
not a great deal of clearance but its enough

I tried them with a 3mm spacer out of interest which worked fine and might be the solution if you needed that bit extra clearance, plenty of room on
the Elan spigot to take a spacer.

The Mini wheels are 16 x 6.5, and the offset from my measurements is very close to 50mm (cant actually see any offset stamped on the wheel),
the backspace is 14cm.
Definitely a useful wheel option considering the offset, but whether they will work with bigger brakes for sure I cannot say.

Par... would you like to come and test fit one on yours? .
