Just a note to say hi and look forward to listening to the experts and learning. I loved my Elan in the nineties but like many things moved on. Well I have just bought the exact one back nearly 20 year later. Now of an age that I can truly appreciate every moment and enjoy the tinkering. Only one simple question to start, second set of keys? After reading posts it all seems to be hit and miss with each key coming from different places. Would be happy with a new ignition key and door/boot key for now. Any advise? Thanks all

Pictures would be nice, but we will still help you if we can.
I am assuming you have a pre 1995 SE model
The key blank for the ignition is JMA OPD. eBay UK has:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263249430228?
The key blank for the door and boot is GM B45. eBay UK has:

Any DIY or other big box stores with a key copy cutting outfit can use these to copy cut you a set of spares.
I have a box or two of them in the US but I am having a blonde moment and can't remember where I put them to be safe...

I seem to remember a box of "LEC" key blanks passed to me with the other stuff to take to the LEC stand when my car was also on show at Malvern some years ago. Not sure if it was Gareth or Goeffers who took control after the show...??

Indeed. Ignition blank bought today via your suggested eBay link. Really helpful. Thanks.
