Fed 16" alloys for sale (UK)

Hi All,

I have just been offered a set of 16" Fed alloys on very good Avon ZZ3 (or ZZ5 - sorry can't remember) tyres which have done 1500 miles and appear to have done so as well! I don't want (need ) them so I thought that someone on here might? They have been dry stored for a number of years and appear to be in excellent condition. I will get some photos when I can and post them. I was told by the owner that he wanted £1,300.00 but I'm not sure how much they are worth?

If "they have been dry stored for a number of years" there is a likelihood the tyres will be way past their safe best. Check the production week/year codes on the sidewalls.

If that is the case the seller may wish to re-consider the value, given that the tyres value would be £0.

gareth (theelanman) was selling hes FED alloys a while ago for a lot less than that. as far as im aware he did not find a buyer.
I was interested in he's set but could not stretch my budget to he's asking price. i would suggest sending him a PM asking about it, if he sold them. you can get a feel for the sale price. if he didnt, you will get a much better deal than the number you mentioned.
