Please explain how you send someone a personal message.
I presume you click on the PM symbol of the person in question. I did this, a screen opened up and I typed in my message. But then nothing happened and I think I lost my message.
Thanks

Click on avatar or user name, then PM:send private message.
Add title and subject
Then press submit (you can preview PM before sending and also load draft/save draft
Your PM will then remain in your outbox until the recipient has opened it, so you will know when it has been opened. It will then be moved to your sent items
Another way of sending PM's is via the User control panel at the top RHS of the Forum banner. Then private message etc... as before. You can also search for an LEC member here
Hope this helps ?

Rambo
Many thanks from a fellow Scot. Message sent off OK. It must have been the title and subject that were missing.

Glad it worked. Just don’t accuse Rambo of being a Scot.
We are still trying to civilise him.
