New topic button

Some people appear to have lost their 'New topic' button. My alter-ego with very limited permissions has one and so apparently does the annoying rodent. To help us understand the problem, could people please record where they are trying to start a new topic?

PS I am decorating, my desktop is not available and my eyes and fingers are not aligned with the modern handheld alternatives.

I’ve found it!

It’s at the bottom left of the “Events - UK” section (which is where I was trying to post). Either I’m going blind or Geoff is trying to make me doubt my sanity.
