I just picked up this on Sunday

She's going to do alternating daily duties with the Elan (once I've sorted out the compression issue on cylinder 3). She's reasonably high mileage at 81k, but she's been used as a daily before so I don't mind adding miles to her (I'm not driving in too much extra depreciation) and she's used to journeys of a reasonable length and frequency. It's a Europa S that was factory specced up to SE standards. Really enjoying it so far.

Lucky you. I really like the Europa S. A good long term investment too as prices are steadily heading north

I just missed out on a lovely one from WillB a few years ago. I deliberated too long instead of going with my gut instinct. C'est la vie

Ahah, you were the other mystery Elan owner who viewed the car. Jason did mention he'd had someone else come to look and I was curious if they would be a member here. Ideally I want to keep the Elan for the summer months (to top up my tan) and use the Europa in the less ideal weather (and keep my knees dry)... but we'll have to see what the real world practicalities of that are.
