Hello from Oxford..

This week I have purchased my first ever Lotus.

Over the years I have been a serial Porsche nut... but always loved the look of the Esprits and Elans. Luckily for me, My wife also loves the Elan and recently sold her BMW Z4 leaving a free parking space..

We decided to go for one with aircon which really restricted our options ending up with a bit of a project.. it has a years MOT with no advisories and needs a bit of tidying up. It drives fine but could do with a suspension refresh in the longer term.

My first task it to replace the apost and hood seals, they are all a bit of a mess.. the previous owner has painted some sort of sealant everywhere and it look absolutely awful. Just need to read up on this topic a bit more..

I have a paint refresh planned in the next few weeks to deal peeling lacquer and stone chips..

Just need to get some miles on it and enjoy it while the weather is ok..
