The article doesn't really say a lot apart from the fact it's aiming for the Porsche Boxster market. What, not the MX-5
Still, it was mooted 9 years ago that Lotus was going to produce a new Elan to take on the Porsche 911 and that never happened

I like the look of that car too - but it is an "As imagined by Autocar" image, which I understand to be their take on what it might look like. Based on what is not disclosed.
