Hello All
Just a quick hello and introduction. Not yet purchased an Elan but working on it and signed up here for the excellent information and advice available. Got the small sports car bug years ago from my trustee MK1 MX5 but really want a proper British sports car marque. If anyone knows of a decent Elan for sale, I'm definitely in the market.

Hey All
Collecting my BRG Elan on January 4th. Car was formerly owned by BFG and Muley and felt very well bolted together on a spirited test drive. Can't wait to start tinkering with my new toy!!!

Congratulations! Here is a picture of mine- great minds and all that......
Mine is keeping me busy with lots of little niggles, but I’m about a month in and seeing real progress towards a nicely sorted car. Hood seals will be the biggest headache I think.....

Does Jamie sell them often? I got the impression he has done some batches, but that there wasn’t a continual production run.....am I mistaken? They seem to be very effective.

Looking good there. I suspect I'll have similar experience but it's generally very well sorted. Might make a few cosmetic changes but it looks good for it's years.

It was/is one of the best I ever owned. Good luck with it.
BTW the inner sills are in pretty good shape ~ and I gave them a good blast of Dinitrol.
Take care

Thanks Jim.
It's a credit to it's former owners

Drove brilliantly on my test run. Even had dry weather so got the hood down. Absolutely loved it.
