Hi
Have just had starter motor and alternator refurbished. For access to and removal of both starter and alternator I naturally removed the prongeron. I also removed the plenum for better access to the top starter bolt. I also removed the throttle body in order to clean it properly. Having reinstalled everything, the engine fired up first time but no idle speed at all. It races away as though I was pressing the accelerator. What have I done wrong? Help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you have a leak from the plenum, does it settle down after a while ?

Steve
Thanks for your reply. Don't know if it settles down as frightened to let it race away too much.
