I've been faffing about with the four engine mount cap heads but rather than waste another hour (as our friend on YouTube did) I resorted to Stilsons and have just bought some new ones.

It is highly advisable to run a 6mm tap into the pulley holes before trying to bolt whatever restraining device to your pulley.
Just to clear whatever shite that may have collected over the years.

I forgot to buy in the aux belts last cambelt change so they must date from the change just before I bought it in 2005. Or given the 1989 date code, maybe they are the originals. The last few years I've been watching them and hoping they'd last until the cambelt change.

Nitro's PCE is still in the loft waiting for a suitable moment.

..all I did today was remove upper cam cover. 10 minutes of foul language, pulling and shoving. Then I tackled the cam cover

Back to the coal face tomorrow.
