Is anything known about this car? Interesting rear light treatment, looks a bit “parts bin”....maybe Toyota?

3 miles on the clock without an engine

Well, first off, it isn't a "car"......

.... it's a hand-layed fibreglass model (full size) of what the "new" project may look like.....

It features in the Hughes book (but with shiny paint and different wheels).

It is a 'push along' version for display purposes only - meccano chassis, no suspension, no brakes (except handbrake), no drivetrain, no roof, no seperate panels (all 1 piece) - so not much good as a donor. The interior is pure Volvo.....

....and not in great cosmetic condition.

Can't see a lot of interest in this one, TBH.

I know that Dave, but from the point of being a bit of Lotus/M100 history....

And the guard dog's got to be worth at least £600

It's the original version of Jamies' "all in one" seal

But with no roof to fit it to, it's hard to say if they work!!!!

(the 'A' pillars look a bit 'lacking' as well.....the windscreen appears to be the whole thickness of the support )

At least there are no electrics or turbo to go wrong. And no suspension so no rust issues. And no need for cambelts, water pump, seized calipers to fix, no CAS noise or replacement o rings required. No servicing needed, no MOT. In fact no nothing

It's a pity it lost its original wheels and the rear smoked screen above the lights!
