I know that it’s sacralige but has anyone fitted TD wheels to their elan?

Mine is black but has some heavy fondmetal (sp) wheels and I wanted to ‘lighten up’ the looks. I think that I’ll probably go with the TDs but probably in a silver.

Thanks Mark, as you know black looks great when cleaned and polished, pity it only lasts about 3 minutes

The wheels are Team Dynamics Pro race 1.2
I spoke to Rimstock and thats what they recommended for a Lotus. The Mars gold paint job was a special order which they were happy to do for £50 but ended up never charging me the surplus.
Same design is control wheel in BTCC and seems to suit many cars. Seen plenty on MINI Coopers.

Of all the aftermarket wheels I think they look quite good and suit the car.

Just as a matter of interest, where did you source them?

I bought the set I had on my Elise direct from them but don’t think that they do that now.

I use 17" Team Dynamics wheels for winter use ..

My car already has 17'' wheels with good tyres. I was thinking of waiting until the tyres were worn and getting some 16'' wheels.

However, the 17'' on your car look good so I might see if I can get some in silver.

They are 7 x 16" and just checked the receipt from when Scott bought them and they are ET45 offset.
