PNM Rear calipers

Further to my other posts I don't trust my pnm rear calipers anymore. I've messaged Jamie about the civic type R conversion but am also thinking of getting a set of standard calipers as well. Looking at other threads it appears some 88 Buick ones will fit. Can someone confirm these are the correct ones?

Was thinking of the cardone or ac delco ones . Ac delco has ones for with or without sports suspension?

I've got a pair of Dormans in the loft which I never fitted but you'd need some of Algirdas' handbrake levers as I loaned mine to Scott.

Geoff that would be great if I can get the levers, will ask Aldigras if they have any . Given the current situation I'm not in a rush as I'm only going shopping for us and my mum when I have too. Let me know how much you want for them

I have the old set of rears which came off my S2 - I rebuilt the brakes with new callipers two winters ago and they’ve been sitting in the loft since then. They are standard Lotus rear callipers off a ‘95 car with 63000 miles up. They’ll need new seals, but otherwise in good condition: they’ve been media cleaned and have a protective paint on them at the moment.

I also have a pair of standard Elan rear discs off the same car, again cleaned and protective paint, but without wheel bearings.

I used the Dorman calipers with the levers that came with them. Contact John, (Brit-car-nut), about availability of the brake cable that has an end fitting that works with the Dorman.

When doing my caliper replacement, I changed out both brake cables so I wouldn't have to mess with rear brakes for a long time. One rear cable is the standard cable, the other is the special cable that fits the Dorman.

It doesn't make much sense to offer a cable back to the UK that has the postage from the UK included in my cost.

This is the Lotus replacement part number for the later caliper with the flat hand brake lever:

Lotus Part Number: A100J6114S
Same number for both sides.
I have 5 of these in stock for US owners that might need one.

It is not in any parts book since it was a new part number long after the parts books were printed.
The V7 book has it in one of the addendum pages, but it is not easy to find.

John thanks for the info, Aldigras is sending some levers over when the current situation is over so I assume I can use the existing cables.
