Cam shaft sensor drive unit oil leak

Postby Denny » Wed 13.05.2020, 18:17

I have just had the M100 fully serviced with new belts etc. but the Cam shaft sensor drive unit has an oil leak.
This is apparently an unserviceable part and the garage couldn't find a replacement; however, they managed to strip it down a replace a couple of damaged o-ring seals which has stopped 80% of the leak.
They tried SW Lotus and a few other suppliers but no joy.
It's OK, but I would like to change it at the next service.
Looking for a supplier / Lotus part number / Rock Auto part number?
Thanks.
