Urgent help please non-starter

Me? I have an S1 turbo se chassis number 18166. I rescued it from sitting outside for years, replaced rusted through filler neck, cleaned out tank, restarted the fuel
Pump changed fuel filter. It was running fine but sat with stale fuel for a year in my garage (long story). I then changed the timing belt as I’m supposed to be doing a track day that I organise, on Wednesday 10 June. After the timing belt change it ran but on three cylinders. The dead cylinder had a good spark and a signal to the injector. After cleaning off the chassis and a couple of other jobs it won’t start at all.
All fuses are ok
Has fresh clean fuel.
Has new fuel filters in tank and the canister filter is new
Injectors all clean and clear - took them all out and cleaned them
Has good fuel pressure at the pump but no pressure at the fuel rail.
Has no signal at any injectors now

Could you clarify when you say you have fuel pressure at various points how have you checed it? likewise " no signal at any of theinjectors"

Thank you, plenty of fuel pressure in the rail but no residual pressure maintained so I worked out that it is the fuel pressure regulator stuck open, obviously it has gone bad gradually... that is why it ran on four, then three, then one cylinder. Unfortunately then it caught fire under the bonnet last night (my fault) - some damaged pipes and wires behind the motor so I’ll have to take the plenum off to get to them I reckon. I also found a white cylinder with two vacuum (I think) pipes attached to it just dangling about behind the engine - what is this and where should it be clipped to please?

First suggestion was going to be FPR as there is nothing else but pipe.

The plastic cannister is a vac tank for the secondary throttle. Lucky you are taking the plenum off because its a bugger to clip in otherwise - so that's one piece of good luck! You will see the clip that it is held in in the middle by the actuator. The ridge in the tank fits in the groove in the clip.

Thank you, I thought it was a reservoir, and thanks for the ‘silver lining’ thought, yes I’ll be to fix all sorts of things once I’ve got the plenum off... including the frazzled wires and fuel pipes. One more question: can I shorten and then heat the plastic fuel pipe carefully and get it back on the connector on the steel
Pipe going to the fuel rail? I have done this with Saabs a few times, using a heat gun etc. Maybe not a naked flame this time, I think I’ve learnt my lesson...
Also, where to get a replacement fuel pressure regulator and plenum gasket please?

RockAuto has some cheap gasket sets, but I can't speak to their quality yet. I think this is a whole engine set including the plenum gasket:
RockAuto FEL-PRO HS9685PT
You can also always try SJ Sportcars which is a lot closer to you.

You may find Brit-Car-Nut's more descriptive post for the Fuel Pressure Regulator if you search the forum, but I recently just bought this on Amazon and it fit, but the nipple take off is usually in a different spot and may interfere with your engine lift bracket (mine isn't on the engine, so it fits fine).

Probably part # A100E6100S and A100E6101S. They are £7.35 each
