New Custom Intercooler

Anyone know the dimensions for our intercooler I may need a new one made up, mine seems to have developed a nice disintegrated look and has the texture of Boursin cheese, I can scrape away the fins with my finger. Would this cause a serious lack of power by any chance? Thanks for any help all

Also worth looking a bit higher up on this thread, in particular posts by coolexperts who already make them and are available.

CoolExperts did my radiator and oil cooler, and I’m pretty sure they’d have made me an intercooler too if I’d asked

Thanks Chris, i gave them a call today the quote was quite a bit higher then when you had yours done but apparently the core is better. Thanks regarding the dimensions Would be handy.

I dropped them a call but they wanted the dimensions unfortunately. Asheritage still have the drawings from when Chris had he’s done. Although the drawing are for the larger intercooler not the original size.

Yep, I had Ash create the uprated cooler to work within the bounds of the fiberglass ducting. The standard one is an off the shelf model and tech has moved on since then. You won't be disappointed.

P.S I just had a call with him and he is very much still involved with all things Lotus. (I have no association with him apart from him having made me some parts)

Hi Chris. all went well I was meant to post pictures I'll get some on here when I get a chance. Definitely made a difference to performance but I do feel there are some other issues which I can't pinpoint. Overall I'd definitely recommend Ash Heritage to anyone whos looking to upgrade there intercooler. If anyone does, and they plan on collecting it in person I suggest taking the IC duct to them on collection up as they modified the duct to get it the IC to fit nicely.
