You need to be in service mode to adjust CO POT. Once adjusted revert to normal and use exhaust gas analyser but make sure engine fully warmed up to get best reading.

Hello and yep, understood. I got a bit confused, I thought Simon had a cunning way of adjusting CO pot at home, I have paper clips, timing lights and lots of basic tools, just no exhaust gas analyser.
Going to need a friendly local garage for that one.

as fredjohn says, but you can also use the poor man's method of twiddling it one way or the other until you get less pops on the overrun. If you make a note of how many turns you made for each adjustment you don't have much to lose.

To avoid any confusion:

MAP = Mass Air Pressure (sensor)

Now I'm confused! I thought it was Manifold Absolute Pressure, and I also thought it was in the engine bay.

Brain fart - I did see it referred to as Mass rather than Manifold recently and it must have stuck but I can't remember where or why.

Just make sure you don't turn it too many turns as there isn't an end stop and it will keep turning ad infinitum without changing the resistance.
