Interesting. What's it made of? Mine is plastic, which of course bends a bit and can't be held in very securely with the bolt, which is why people talk of using sealant as well as the O-ring. Yours looks like metal.

Also, what does the other side look like? Mine has a 1/2 cm high circular plastic boss on it (about 3cm diameter) onto which the O-ring fits.

The dimensions are £2 or £2.50 depending on how many you would like.

I was asking for the dimensions because I was thinking of trying an FFKM heat resistant O ring on the cam blanking cover as it seems the std nitrile ones used in this location deteriorate over time.

I have been using these:

Not sure where I got them from, they have an 'x' cross section, with 30.4mm OD, 23.6mm ID. But Simons looks a very good deal, especially being viton.

It's always worth asking! The index system on LEC is people's memory, sometimes you have to know that the post exists and then what to search for. I searched for Viton, so im not surprised that you didn't find it.
