OK as before thanks to all that commented on my previous two posts about my problems. I have been working on it off and on since my last post. Pulled the CAM sensor unit so I could turn it by hand and look as the signals. Didn't seem to have a problem there. Plus other tests as time permitted.
Many thanks to Steve Rineer who loaned me his cable, to use with Elan Scan. So being both my cable, and his utilize the FTDI chip, I figure mine is probably not working anymore (Com Errors). My cable did work at one time, but I guess I need to purchase a new one.
That being said, I came back to the thought that the 5 volt reference was not coming coming out of the ECU. So I decided to make my own reference by inserting 4.5 volts into the TPS (easiest to get to) and tie the ground from the power supply to the vehicle ground. Well the car started right up and ran for more that 2 seconds. So I guess In need a ECU (or ECM what ever you like to call them).
So I have a US M100 turbo, although from all the help on this site it seems that my memcal will do the trick with any M100 ECU's. Also being I'm in the states If anyone knows what I should look for as far as a replacement that came from another GM, or Isuzu That would be appreciated as well. As you all probably know now when the engine started and hit 800 RPM it tried to let the ECU take over control of everything, when multiple sensor inputs were missing it would shut off the injectors.
Thanks again all. Lets get this little yellow M100 back on the road.
