S2 wheel valve type.

I had my S2 wheels refurbished but am struggling to find the correct motorcycle type valves fitted to them so that I can order some spares?

There have been some air leak issues, which now seem stable, however I need to replace them when the car next needs new tyres, which I will also as a matter of course change the valve and seal each time. The local tyre company's take one look at them and say no thanks sling your hook!!!.

What's special about them?? They look to me like any universal alloy tyre valves would do. Demon Tweaks do them, amongst many others...here

I got mine from Demon Tweeks.... they were for SE wheels, but they do different sizes, so should have some to fit the hole in S2 wheels (I know they're different size to the OZ ones, but can't remember if they're bigger or smaller for the BBS).

I know nothing about tyre valves! I’m having the wheels refurbished and have new tyres plus I think one is leaking so I would like to replace them.

Btw Dave the holes look to be 10mm.

That's odd since it did work when posted and as far as I can see from your link Kathryn the address hasn't changed. It was the "Hub Buddies" that I linked to so I've redone it and its working for now anyway. Of course I'm still only guessing and don't actually KNOW that they will fit!

Bit late seeing this but my spare S2 wheel is in my garage somewhat in the way ... was tricky trying to 'mike it' but 8mm drill passes through the valve hole, 8.5mm does not. Reckon 8mm valves needed.

Thanks Phil. The 8mm ones appear to be the correct size. (Car is in for wheel refurb so I won’t find out Just yet)

The Hub Buddies ones are far too big. Serve me right for picking the cheapest option!

I ordered the smaller ones anyway. They’ll reuse the old ones if they don’t fit.

Yeah, I said to the guy in the NMY (Burble 61 from LEC) to say Hi if I missed you, which I obviously did. You were parked next to ScottJ's blue Elsie and I spotted at least 2 other Palacio's over the weekend. You got the best weather of the 3 days, but even that was a bit patchy. Still, there's always next year

Picked the car up yesterday. Wheels look fab with new bolts and valves! The 8mm Richbrook ones fit.
