Rubber hose perished

I've got a '94 S2 with a small perished rubber hose that goes from the inlet manifold on the drivers side (UK) across to an electrical item mounted on the suspension strut housing. It's no more than 3 mm thick. Anyone know what it's for and where I could get a replacement?

I'm guessing it's for the transducer orange/red mounted on driver's wing.

Measure diameter of pipe and replace with readily available same size silicone hose from ebay. Think it may be 3 or 6mm ID, but not sure.

Go to deroure.com Elan parts catalogue and look at page 43.03a and 17.07a to clarify though.

Yes, sounds like the boost transducer. No orange /red rubber cover on the S2 though.
